Isaac had his first taste of "food" a few weeks ago on February 16. As you can see in this picture, he was much more interested in the red spoon than the food itself! Dave videotaped his first few bites, and it's pretty hilarious to see how his eyes cross as the spoon comes near his mouth since he was focusing so hard on it! Our first few attempts at rice were very messy....but a lot of fun! I think that Dave & I enjoy feeding him so much because Isaac makes such silly expressions!
Now that Isaac is a few weeks into eating rice cereal, he is doing much better with eating off the spoon and actually swallowing the rice! I am sure every parent feels this way....but I am more and more convinced on a daily basis that my baby is growing up too fast!
Grandma Missy is a pro at getting Isaac to eat his rice. Somehow, she manages to get Isaac to eat nearly every bite of it each time!
