Fun in the Tub with Colored Gelatin

Playing with colored gelatin has been on my "to-do" list for Isaac and Emma for awhile, and Valentine's Day ended up being the perfect day to do so.  We were home all day; so, Isaac and I made the gelatin in the morning while Emma napped.  The Kool-Aid-colored gelatin set for about 5 hours, and then Isaac and Emma played with it after their afternoon naps.
This is how the gelatin looked for about 5 seconds before Isaac and Emma's little hands started playing...grape, cherry, lemon, and strawberry.

"Can we really touch it?"

Emma wasn't very interested in the gelatin.  It may have been because it was so cold!  She loved watching Isaac play with it, though.

Since the gelatin was unflavored, it really didn't taste very good...but, it was still worth a taste.  :)

Clean-up was a breeze!  The gelatin dissolved and went right down the drain...and the bathroom smelled like fruit.  :)
