For as long as I've wanted to be a mom, I've dreamed of dressing my children in matching outfits. A few months ago, I realized I could still match a boy and a girl. It took a little bit of extra shopping to find a feminine chambray shirt for Emma to match Isaac's, but I finally found a sweet one with smocking around the neck. I absolutely love dressing Isaac & Emma in these outfits!
Our leaves are finally falling in North Texas, and they are just beautiful! On Monday morning, we went to Bear Creek Park to take pictures. I teared up over and over...the leaves were gorgeous, Isaac and Emma were having so much fun walking through the leaves, and I was taking pictures of my own precious children in matching outfits. A few years ago, I only dreamed of a day like this.
I've looked at this picture over and over since Monday...I can't believe how big Isaac is getting!
As we were packing up to leave the park, I told Isaac that we should come back soon and hike through the leaves again. He looked at me and said, "Yes, but next time, let's not take any pictures." :)
Oh, I love these children. And, I love how God knows and fulfills both the big and little desires of our hearts...even the dream of having children in matching outfits.
"Now to Him Who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."
Ephesians 3:20-21
