March 2017

Pictures from March 2017
Isaac added up all his coins and dollar bills as part of his math lesson one day!

Dave started teaching Josiah how to run the "digger" in the rock box.  As I type this, Josiah is going on one hour of playing in the rock box.  He absolutely loves it.  :)

Emma and Amanda watched Isaac in "Kid Celebrate" at Keystone Church.  Isaac was on the "Orange Crusher" team and his all-orange outfit is still his favorite.  I was a little behind getting his outfit, so we quickly ran into War-Mart one day with a few minutes to spare.  We grabbed everything athletic orange in his size that we could find, ran into the dressing room, and found a top and shorts that worked.  Isaac wanted to wear his new shirt & shorts for the rest of the day, so we had to be escorted to the checkout.  It's still his favorite outfit, and he often comes to the laundry room to see if it's clean yet. :)

"anything I face, He will be my strength"

My sweethearts!  I always say that matching outfits are one of my love languages!
Emma had her PreK open house and was so proud to show me all of her artwork and projects.  She is very excited to homeschool next year and have me as her teacher, but we will miss PreK for sure.  Her teachers are absolutely fantastic.

Dave and I had a wonderful date night with our dear friends, Shaun and Ericka!  I am so thrilled to be in Ericka's CC community next year, which means I'll see her (and her precious girls) every week!
Grocery shopping squad!  And I didn't notice until later that Isaac is busy checking out the candy. :)

Uncle Mike came up for Emma and Josiah's birthday party.  Josiah always wants us to pray for "Uncle Mike in Hooo-ston" and also includes him when he sings everyone's name on "Jesus Loves Me."  Michael spoils my kids, and I love seeing their relationship with their uncle.  I grew up very close with two of my uncles, so this means so much to me.

My dear friend Tiffany couldn't believe I had never been to Buckees, so she took me on a grand tour of the new one on 35--I even ate "beaver nuggets."  :)  The funniest part was when the Buckee mascot walked into the store!  We were both laughing so hard, and we still laugh every time we think of it.  :)

It was a bit chilly, but both Isaac and Emma jumped into the pool for the first swim of the year on March 19th!

These silly girls were "doing hair" in their class at church.

I took my boys and Isaac's buddy from CC on a field trip to the zoo.  Isaac wanted us all to wear orange to match his favorite orange outfit.  My phone died (of course, ha) within the first few minutes of arriving, but I did take these adorable pics of Isaac telling Josiah all about the gorilla.  Isaac is so patient with Josiah--it melts my heart.

We moved this shelf into Isaac's room, and he was so proud of how he arranged all his treasures on it.

Emma loves doing schoolwork at home.

Josiah loves helping anywhere and everywhere--laundry and dishes!

We bought new bunk beds for the boys.  We went to pick them up at the store, and I ended up moving carseats to try and make space for the boxes.  Emma ended up with the jogger stroller on her lap, and Isaac had to sit like this!  A few miles into our drive home, we pulled over and reconfigured everything.  The boys were (and still are) so excited about their bunk beds.

a smiling boy and his smiling plate of breakfast :)
