VBS 2025: International Spy Academy

David and Isaac helped with set-up on Sunday afternoon/evening.

Isaac served in 3rd grade.  I was the lead shepherd for Titus' PreK A class, and Josiah was with the 5th grade boys in his last year of VBS!  Emma was at Middle School Camp all week!

amazing snacks throughout the week

VBS week = very long naps!
A highlight of our VBS week was that Jordan and Taj Seehusen came from Fiji!  Taj was so excited to attend VBS with his buddies Gideon, Josiah, and cousin Landon.  We had them all over on Wednesday evening for a pool party, and we celebrated Jordan and Taj's summer birthdays!

Josiah found a funny book in the Countryside Library: "A Bigelow Dictionary of Hand Motions."
Also, the book above is "Productivity' by Jeff Scarborough.
Here are some more volumes:
"Titus Rinn" and "Brittany Davis"

Titus wanted to be part of the picture with Mrs. Moser.

great friends at Family Night

Josiah was awarded the "Servant's Heart" award at the closing ceremony on Friday evening.  In Josiah's nomination award, one of his leaders wrote "...my overall interaction with him throughout the week epitomizes the definition of humility, kindness, servant of God, and selfless.  There wasn't one specific action.  It was consistent action throughout the entire week."
Praise the Lord for an amazing, joyful week of VBS!

Seeing all the kids put their arms around each other & sing "As For Me and My House" are memories I'll never forget...including Isaac and Titus in our kitchen before VBS on Friday morning with their arms around each other.

Isaac's Week at Frontier Camp 2025

This is Isaac's 7th year to attend Frontier Camp Week 5 with Bryan!
One of Isaac's counselors was Ethan Adams, who graduated from CDA in 2024!
Ethan and Isaac played in Symphonic Band together.

Cabin Skit

Isaac earned the Recharge Award for completing Bible studies through Frontier Camp throughout the school year.  He was recognized at the closing ceremony.

Highlights of Isaac's week were playing lots of dodgeball, Fourth of July fireworks, and amazing food.
I loved picking him up on Saturday morning and hearing all about his week while we drove home!
Praise the Lord for a safe and fruitful week at camp!
