A few evenings ago we headed to Bear Creek Park for an impromptu cookout. We'd been trying to do this for the past few weekends, but it just hadn't happened between being sick and building the rock box for Isaac's birthday.
Forget that I didn't pack the matches and that by the time we got there it was nearly dusk anyway...so we changed our plans and ended up eating WhataBurger instead of grilling hot dogs. :)
But, we did get the grill going in time for dessert--S'MORES!!
Isaac's expression in this picture doesn't really show how much he loved his first s'more!
Or maybe he just liked the marshmallows, since after he ate the s'more he ate 6 more (jumbo) marshmallows straight out of the bag. (A boy after my own heart.) ;)
I LOVE this idea!! I just told Mark we need to go make s'mores at the park too. Landrie would be in heaven!
