Here is Emma's baby doll wrapped up in her Moby wrap. She is really into taking care of her babies right now, and they are always named Briggs. :)
Emma loves to help me cook. Whether I'm just making eggs quickly for breakfast or baking something more involved, she is always dragging a kitchen chair across the floor and saying, "Can I help you?" She is a great assistant!
Dave and I recently started teaching together in Little Campers at church, and Emma loves having us in her class. This is a sweet picture of Emma and her friend that was on the church Facebook page. Love her bright smile!
A few favorite things about Emma that I don't want to ever forget...
Emma is our early riser. She is always the first one down the stairs, and she absolutely loves nothing more than to snuggle.
Emma calls her blanket a "planket."
Emma says, "I don't mind" all the time. For example, "I don't mind if you drink your coffee." "I don't mind if you want to hold me." "I don't mind if I watch a show."
Emma has the most imaginative names for Josiah...Chunko, Chunkamongous, Chunkalunk. She proudly tells says "My brother's name is Chunko" or "Chunkalunk is going to go to swimming lessons today." Last Thursday, both Josiah and Emma had swimming lessons at the same time. They were each with a teacher, and Emma's teacher had her swim past Josiah. She leaned over and said, "Hi Chunko!" and then gave him a huge kiss. (Josiah just kept screaming...he's still getting used to swimming lessons.)
