Isaac David: 7 years old

I'm writing this months after Isaac turned seven!  Isaac loves Wild Kratts!!

We gave Isaac a creature power suit for his birthday, just like the Kratt Brothers wear on his shirt.  (He's worn it ever since!)  For his family party, we had several creature challenges.  Isaac began by giving a brief presentation on each animal.  Then, his guests competed in different challenges.

 Here's Pop demonstrating how to snag a (gummy) worm, just like a bass!  (Of course, we are super paranoid about germs, so the gummy worm and clothespin are covered with a Ziplock bag.)

Everyone carried "platypus eggs" on a journey to the platypus' nest.  It was completely silent during this challenge--everyone was concentrating so hard so their egg wouldn't drop!

We played a fun National Geographic animal version of "Headbands" that was a hit with everyone!  We all had a lot of fun giving clues to help each person guess which animal was on his/her hand band.

Isaac loved his cake, and I had a lot of fun making it.  

We also had a fun night out with Uncle Mike and Isaac's friend, Landrie, at The Rainforest Cafe! 

Of course, I believe that you can never have too much birthday...so, the next weekend we had a party and invited Isaac's friends and their families.  We had a multitude of creature challenges.  Each guest received their own creature vest, and then they got a creature power disc for each challenge.  We celebrated with pizza and cupcakes!
