We left for Branson after church on Sunday, November 24.
The kids stayed busy in the car napping, beading, and listening, and Isaac did a lot of the driving!
We stopped in McAlester, Oklahoma and ate at McAlister's!
We were excited to rent the same house as last year, and the kids loved playing pool!
Fun round the house: pool, haircuts, sorting batteries (ha!), and playing with toys from the toy closet.
We had a terrific day at Silver Dollar City on Monday.
A highlight was listening to the Pickers in the Homestead Cabin! Their music was absolutely amazing!
Titus waving at the Christmas parade
We loved a Thanksgiving feast we enjoyed for an early supper, too!
The end of a long, great day together!
We attended the Dolly Parton Stampede on Tuesday evening!
The kids loved all the different acts, especially the lumberjacks!
Lunch at College of the Ozarks on Wednesday
We went from College of the Ozarks to Sight and Sound Theater where we saw The Nativity!
Grilling s'mores on the grill on Wednesday evening

a Thanksgiving morning walk at Table Rock Lake State Park - chilly, refreshing, and so fun! The kids found many painted stones along the path. |
Thanksgiving dinner at Local Flavor
After dinner, Dave, Emma, Titus, and I went back to College of the Ozarks for treats - ice cream for most and a Missouri Maple Spice latte for me (maple, molasses, and cinnamon - delicious!)
Papa and Nana took Isaac and Josiah to check out Bass Pro Shop
We also enjoyed a movie night ("The Train"), many walks, and playing Chameleon!
