Isaac's football birthday party!
We played football pictionary in the schoolroom.
The boys did a huge football-themed scavenger hunt & then played in our backyard. They ate a lot of pizza and cake!
Isaac got money for a new bike from Papa & Nana!
Isaac's birthday was the day we got our newest foster baby. He woke up to a new National Geographic Almanac, and he ate a #9 pancake!
Grandma Debbie sent him money, and he pretended to fall on the ground in shock when he saw how much money it was! She sent money for Isaac, Emma, and Josiah to spend. We had to drop off the baby's carseat at the NICU downtown for his carseat test, and then we went to the children's museum for several hours. The kids loved buying presents for themselves in the gift shop.
We had our family over a few weekends later to celebrate Isaac's birthday. My mom brought and made the whole meal because I was so tired with the new baby!

This is the year Isaac's reading really took off! It is so awesome to see how much he loves reading.
Isaac proved he can build Legos even with a broken thumb.
We love you, Isaac David!
