Babies #1 & #2

Up until a few weeks ago, I had 13 (yes, 13!!) pregnant friends (Audra, Tiffany, Nicole, Alicia, Kimi, Jennifer B., Sarah, Dinah, Jennifer P., Allison, Bree, Lisa Kay, & David's college roommate's wife). Granted, 5 of them are teachers at my school; so, even though I wouldn't consider them close friends, I definitely hear about their pregnancies all the time! ;) However, 2 of the babies have been born, and I'm so thrilled that Audra and Tiffany have both had beautiful baby girls!!

Israel Hope Charlebois was born on Saturday, February 3. I am hoping to go to Minnesota to meet her (and Nicole's baby boy!) in May or June. I love hearing Audra talk about what a wonderful baby Rae is, and how happy Audra is being her mom!

And, on Valentine's Day, Audrey Faith Collins was born. David and I were able to meet her when she was just home from the hospital, only 4 days old! I loved being able to hold her while she slept! She is a miracle, and we are both so happy for Brian & Tiffany! I am especially excited because I get to watch Audrey this summer 3 days a week when Tiffany goes back to work!! (I will have to post a picture of Audrey when I get the film back--we finally used our last roll of "film" that has been in the camera for months!).

Welcome, precious babies!

Sweet Valentine's Day!

David and I celebrated Valentine's Day this year by going to The Melting Pot. This is an amazing fondue restaurant, and we both enjoyed every minute and bite of our dinner there!! Personally, my favorites were the turtle dessert fondue and that we sat at our table, talking and eating, for over 3 hours. It was so wonderful to be able to spend time together!! Here are a few pictures of us enjoying the evening...

Even though David and I don't usually see each other during the week (since David is working out in west Texas), my precious husband drove home on Feb. 13 so that we could wake up together on Valentine's morning! I left on the afternoon of the 14th for a conference in San Antonio, so this was our best chance to be together on the actual day. David ended up beating me home that evening, and when I got home, I found these gorgeous roses for me! David, I couldn't love you any more!! You make my life so sweet!

Our Trip to Arizona!

Okay, I know we have been a little lax lately in our posting. Since we last posted, we went to Arizona February 2-4 to visit David's grandpa. It was a short, but wonderful, weekend. We felt very blessed to be able to go and visit Grandpa Rinn. We got in late on Friday night, and the next morning we took a little drive through the Superstition Mountains. I really didn't know that Arizona had mountains like these, but they were "mountainous" enough that David had to stop the car so I could get out and get some fresh air....yikes! ;) We also spent a lot of time talking with Grandpa Rinn, as well as his sister and her husband, Aunt Lois & Uncle Tom. Grandpa Rinn, we miss you very much, but we are thankful for the time we were able to spend with you!
