Car Wash

It was so beautiful outside this afternoon that we just couldn't stay inside, so we decided to wash the car.  I had no idea what a big hit this would be with Isaac!   He loves both being outside and water, so it was a winning combination! 

I gave him his own rag, & he scrubbed a few doors right beside me.  But, all the puddles, the bucket of water, & the hose soon became much more interesting. 



Why can't we do this every day, Mom?



By the time we were done, Isaac was completely soaked from head to toe.  His little yellow moccasin shoes had even dyed his socks yellow!  It was starting to get chilly since the sun was going down, so I put Isaac in the shower.  The shower is one of his favorite places in the house right now....whether or not the water's running-- though he prefers it on and will say "please" over and over until he gets water!

I decided the shower was over when Isaac picked up the drain cover and threw a bottle of shampoo down the drain!  Oops!  Since Dave's out of town, I'm supposed to fish around with a coat hangar & see if it's reachable or not.  This is life with a toddler & a husband on the road!  :)
