Visitors from Colorado!

This last weekend, we had a wonderful weekend with Mom and Dad Rinn. They flew in on Thursday morning, and since we were both at school, my mom picked them up, fed them lunch, and brought them to my school so they could watch me teach my 2nd grade music class! I think (hope!) they had a great time learning about quarter and eighth notes and listening to some Schubert. :)

On Friday morning, Dave and his dad got up at 4:30 to head out west. It was so great that Tim was able to go to work with Dave and understand more of what Dave does everyday! Dave "forced" him to try running a few pieces of equipment...here are a few pictures!(Dave is in the dumptruck, and his dad is loading the dumptruck up in the backhoe.)
Meanwhile, since I had taken the day off, Susie and I leisurely slept in until 8 and then headed over to North Park Mall in Dallas for a wonderful day of shopping! Our main priority was finding her a gown to wear to Jon's wedding (Dave's brother) in March! We found 3 good possibilities, took them home for the guys to see, and narrowed down the choices to one stunning dress!!
In addition to lots of great shopping, we enjoyed lots of great food. We went to Pappasito's, our favorite Mexican spot, on Saturday night. It is still so warm out that we were able to enjoy a great dinner out on the patio!
